How to easily search Translatum forum (or almost any searchable site) if you use Chrome / Opera

CHROME

1. Right-click the URL bar and choose "Edit search engines..."
(Mac users should Ctrl-click if they cannot right-click)

2. Click Add a new search engine

In Search engine field type a descriptive name for your search, e.g. Translatum English<>Greek
In Keyword field type for example tr
In URL field copy and paste the following address

Now, click in the URL bar (or press Ctrl+L) and type your keyword (tr), followed by the term or phrase you want to look up. I.e.

Press Enter.

If you want to search French<>Greek on the forum (115,000 topics) use this URL:

If you want to search German<>Greek (93,000 topics) on the forum use this URL:

To apply this to any searchable site, submit a search on that site, copy the resulting URL and replace the search word in that URL with %s.
For a Google search, simply press Ctrl+K, Ctrl+E or Ctrl+L and type your query.

OPERA

1. Right-click the URL bar and choose "Edit search engines..."
2. Click Add
3. Enter search engine name, keyword and URL as described for Chrome.
4. Click Add
5. Search using keyword and search term as described for Chrome (for example "tr company".
